Team trip to Austria: Sickest experience ever. I got to know the whole team: strong riders, unique characters and awesome people = good times were guaranteed! I had the chance to show the whole IPP team my backyard - the place I grew up and my home mountains that had triggered my passion for snowboarding. The team flew over to Europe to get some backcountry filming done - never easy to get some shots out there in the wild, but the dudes have been killing it. Getting stuff down out there is hard work, but good conditions - fluffy snow, fun spots, silk-smooth tricks landed and filmed - have made it well worth the hassle and has rewarded us with an ecstasy like feeling for the rest of the day. I have had such a blast shredding, filming and just hanging with those dudes - sickest week of the season for me, hands down! This experience has also triggered a desire in me to put more emphasis on the filming side of snowboarding. I invested a few bucks in some better filming equipment in my pursuit of bringing out a banging online part next season. Any ways, enough from me… Thanks IPP for the insane times and for coming over to Europe. Loved it! And by the way, don’t forget to check out the IPP team movie dropping this fall!
